Tate Ellis - Namaste Getaways Owner

Tate Ellis, owner of Namaste Getaways, is a native of the American Rocky Mountains and has spent her life pursuing spirituality through Yoga and meditation. As a private Yoga Instructor and endurance athlete, Tate is passionate about sharing her knowledge with Yoga students of all experience levels. Tate is also a veteran whitewater guide who leads groups down some of America's most rambunctious rivers. When not hosting guests in the world's most exotic and beautiful locales, Tate can be found snowboarding the nearest mountain or training for her next endurance race.

Bryant Dunn - Namaste Getaways Owner

Bryant Dunn, owner of Namaste Getaways, has traveled through 50 countries and six continents while hosting groups internationally for the past 20 years. As an internationally certified Casting Instructor, Bryant enjoys sharing the most remote global fly fishing destinations with his guests. Bryant is a resident of Sun Valley, Idaho USA and is the owner of Sun Valley Outfitters. During the North American winter months, Bryant can be found supervising the Sun Valley ski patrol in his roles of Critical Incident Team leader and Medical Technician.

Karma Tshering - Lead Cultural Guide

Karma is widely known and respected as one of the most experienced and knowledgeable guides in the Himalayan Range. Born and raised in Paro, Bhutan, Karma has been acting as Namaste Getaways' Lead Cultural Guide since 2007. Karma's knowledge of animal, bird and plant species throughout the Himalayas is unmatched and his profound knowledge of Buddhism is fascinating and inspiring. Karma, featured in several documentaries, series and specials filmed about the Himalayas, is one of the finest all around guides in the world and is an irreplaceable member of the NM Team.

Amy David - Yoga Practice Assistant

Amy grew up in the mountains of Wyoming and spends the majority of her time, when not assisting Yoga adventures for Namaste Getaways, guiding wilderness trips, producing outdoor-themed media, and seeking adrenaline rushes on skis and bikes. In 2009, Amy won the title Miss Wyoming Teen USA which kickstarted her media career combining aspirations in the outdoor and entertainment industries. Between adventures traveling the world from skiing France, Italy and Switzerland to sailing the Caribbean, to horseback riding the Wind River Range, to mountain biking the Idaho mountains,  Amy enjoys all forms of experiencing adventure and Mother Nature. She absolutely loves sharing that passion with others. Women empowerment through outdoor sports is her specialty.

Darren McFadden - Fly Fishing Guide

Darren has been guiding fly fishermen and exploring the most remote corners of the world with his flyrod for twenty five years. "D" is equally at home swinging flies for steelhead near his home in Northern California as he is chasing Golden Mahseer through the jungles of India or tarpon in the Caribbean. When asked what draws him to international guiding in the most exotic global fisheries he answers, "The world is a profoundly beautiful place which I am passionate about exploring and sharing with our guests. Add a little fly fishing and that's about as fulfilling as life gets!"

Karma Galleg - Logistics/River Team Lead

Karma is one our most-valued guides and has been with Namaste Getaways since 2007. Karma oversees transportation and logistics and serves as a river guide on our daily floats and multi-day river excursions. Karma's quiet and peaceful nature is always appreciated and valued by our guests and his fellow guides. No trip would be the same without Karma G!

Jake Nelsen - Fly Fishing Guide

A day of fly fishing with Jake is not likely to be forgotten. Jake's hilarious sense of humor makes for an unforgettable day of fly fishing, whether on the warm bonefishing flats of the Turks and Caicos Islands or the jungle rivers of southeast Asia. As a member of our Team since 2010 and an internationally certified Casting Instructor, Jake provides a patient and good-humored approach to instruction and enjoys nothing more than to share his vast knowledge of casting and fishing with our guests. After the day is done, there is no one better to share a campfire or dinner table with than our in-house comedian. Join us and you will see for yourself!

River Team Leader and world-class kayaker, Chencho has been featured on the big screen and has several Himalayan first descents on his resume. His calm and cool  demeanor is always welcome, especially when the rapids are big!

Mike Bordenkircher

Mike, an internationally certified Casting Instructor, has been leading fishermen around the globe for more than two decades. Originally from Oregon, USA, Mike's positive mental attitude and profound knowledge of many exotic species is invaluable.

Thinley Namgyal

Thinley is one of Asia's top young boaters. Trained on the class V rapids of Nepal, Bhutan and India, Thinley's infectious spirit is priceless whether on a day float or multi-day excursion.

Arjun is an important part of the Namaste Getaways River Team. His mastery of kayaking and rafting techniques is a pleasure to behold!

Hari Chettri

Hari has been working with Namaste Getaways since 2010 and is an integral member of the Team. Whether organizing logistics or transporting our guets through the complicated thoroughfares of Asia, Hari is a key component of the NM staff.

Thinley Tobden
